16 Migrants Killed In Separate Road Accidents In U
16 migrant labourers were killed in three separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh while returning home amid the lockdown.

The first accident took place in western UP’s Muzaffarpur, where a UP Roadways bus ran over labourers walking on the road. While six labourers died in this mishap, two have been injured. All eight labourers were walking from Punjab to their homes in Bihar.


The second accident took place in MP’s Guna district, where a truck full of labourers, which was en route to UP, collided with a bus in the Cantt area. While eight labourers died in this mishap, 54 have been injured. Guna ASP TS Baghel said that the injured labourers are being treated at the District Hospital.

The third incident occurred near the Shankarpur Chowk in Bihar’s Samastipur district. Over here, at least two labourers died in a collision between a bus and a truck and 12 were injured. The labourers were going from Muzaffarpur to Katihar in the bus but it collided with a truck en route.
