3 Militants Killed In Encounter With Security Forces In J&K's Anantnag
Security forces gunned down three militants belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen in the Pazalpora village of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Search operations by security forces are ongoing in the area as they fear some more militants might be hiding there.
Security forces have had major success against militants in J&K. On Wednesday morning, security forces eliminated three militants in an encounter in the Pazalpora village of Bijbehara region in Anantnag district. The encounter between security forces and militants began around 6 am. All three militants who were killed belonged to the Hizbul Mujahideen and they were being led by commander Nasir Chadru. Earlier, security forces began a search operation in the area after getting information that some militants were hiding there. During the search operation, militants opened fire on security forces.
