At Least 18 Indians Among 23 Killed In Sudan Ceramic Factory Blast
At least 18 Indians were among the 23 people killed and over 130 injured as a fire triggered by a blast in gas tanker tore through a ceramic factory in Sudan, authorities said on Wednesday.
The incident happened while a tanker truck was offloading gas at Seela Ceramic Factory in Bahri area in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, on Tuesday. The factory had over 50 Indian nationals, of which 16 are missing.
External Affairs Minister expressed grief about the lives lost in the tragedy.
