Ayodhya Verdict: Muslim Body To File Review Petiti
The All-India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has decided to file a review petition against the Supreme Court verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid Title dispute case.

Board secretary and lawyer Zafaryab Jilani said that they want the plot of land for which they have fought and not a five-acre plot elsewhere for the mosque. Jilani said that senior lawyer Rajiv Dhawan will file the review petition on behalf of the Board.

The decision was taken in the meeting of the executive council of AIMPLB in Lucknow on Sunday. After the meeting, Maulana Arshad Madani, president of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, said that the Supreme Court’s decision was against the Muslim parties.

With regard to the decision by AIMPLB to file a review petition in this matter, Iqbal Ansari, who has been a party in the case, said that this matter should be closed here itself.
