Bengaluru: Congress Protest Over LPG Price Hike
Protests by the Congress against hike in the prices of LPG cylinders are underway across the country, with Congress workers protesting against the price rise in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru on Friday.
During the protests, Congress workers wore PM Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s masks and registered their opposition carrying gas cylinders, jungle wood and gas stoves.
Earlier, on Thursday, Women’s Congress workers protested outside the office of the Petroleum Ministry in national capital Delhi. Oil companies have hiked the prices of non-subsidised LPG cylinders by 20% in metro cities from Wednesday.
