Children Made To Run In Polluted Delhi Air For Photo-Op
The whole nation is celebrating Chacha Nehru’s birthday on November 14. Entire Delhi-NCR is covered in a blanket of smog and schools have been closed, but despite this, a ‘Run for Children’ was organised, in which thousands of children participated amid heavy pollution.
Schoolchildren say that they are finding it difficult to breathe due to the growing pollution and they are unable to study because schools are closed.
On one hand, the government is ordering schools to be shut down to save children from the harmful effects of pollution, while on the other hand, these children are participating in the run without caring about their health, which is not good for them. Watch the full report here:
