Countdown Begins For Delhi Elections
All parties have stepped up campaigning for the forthcoming Delhi assembly elections and prominent leaders of the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be seen campaigning for their parties in Delhi on Tuesday.

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi will address his second rally in Delhi’s Dwarka on Tuesday at 2 p.m. PM Modi had kickstarted campaigning for the Delhi assembly elections by holding his first rally at Karkardooma on Monday.

He had said that the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests at Shaheen Bagh are politically-motivated. He added that protests at Seelampur, Shaheen Bagh and Jamia are not coincidences but experiments and Congress-Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) politics is behind it.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, former Congress President and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress General Secretary, will together address two rallies at Delhi’s Jangpura and Sangam Vihar on Tuesday. Former PM Manmohan Singh will also address a rally in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden today and canvass for votes for Congress candidates.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also address rallies in Delhi Cantonment, Patel Nagar and Timarpur today.

Apart from this, Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal will release the manifesto for the Delhi assembly elections on behalf of the AAP at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

This time, there is a triangular contest in the Delhi assembly elections. While the Congress, which has been out of power for 15 years, is trying its best to make a comeback, the BJP has fielded its CMs and Union Ministers. However, CM Kejriwal is holding fort alone on behalf of AAP.

Polling for the Delhi assembly elections will be held on February 8 and the results will be declared on February 11.
