The rate of infection of the coronavirus in the country has sped up immensely. On Tuesday, 315 positive cases of the coronavirus came to light in different parts of the country and the number of active patients increased to 1,420.

The death toll from the coronavirus has also seen a spike and this number now stands at 49. So far, 150 patients have been discharged from the hospital after treatment.


Last week, around 80-100 patients were being identified daily but on Monday, 227 new patients were found. After this, on Tuesday, this figure rose to 315. 

The challenges of the Central and state governments have increased with the number of positive patients increasing daily.

The first coronavirus patient in India was found on January 30. Initially, this pace was very slow. In two months, this number crossed 1,600 but in the last three days, this speed has increased manifold.

According to data, more than 600 patients have been found in the last three days.

The Health Ministry claims that the coronavirus is still in its second phase in the country. Its community transmission has not started yet but now its speed has caused anxiety for the Central and state governments.
