COVID-19: Record Spike of 13,586 New Cases In 24 Hours
Coronavirus infections in the country are hitting new highs every day. Over the last 24 hours, a record 13,568 new cases and 336 deaths were reported, the Health Ministry's latest bulletin said.
The latest numbers bring the country’s death toll past 12,500 and total cases to 380.532.
India is one of those countries in the world where the lockdown failed badly. The lockdown, which began on March 25, lasted for more than two months. It has been 18 days since the lockdown was lifted (partially) in India, but the graph of coronavirus infection has not come down yet. The infection is steadily growing and creating new records every day.
