Earlier on Sunday, film actor Sushant Singh reached Jamia and Shaheen Bagh and took part in the protests there. Singh also read out a poem that read, ‘Stop protests, there is a traffic jam.’

On Sunday, Salman Khurshid, Congress leader, and former External Affairs Minister reached Jamia, and Udit Raj, Congress leader and former Member of Parliament reached Shaheen Bagh and participated in the anti-CAA protests.

Meanwhile, protests by women are underway at the Clock Tower in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. Apart from this, a large protest was held against CAA and NRC in West Bengal’s Birbhum, which saw a huge turnout.
