Delhi: Man Pays For His Own Killing To Provide Insurance Money To Family
Delhi Police has solved a shocking murder case in the national capital which has a plot that seems straight out of a Bollywood story. As per the police, a middle aged man planned and paid for his own death in a bid to provide his family with insurance money.
On June 10, upon receiving a PCR call, the local Police reached near Khedi Wala Pul Baprola Vihar and found a person aged 35 yrs (approx.) hanging from a tree. The deceased was identified as Gaurav Bansal, a resident of Arya Nagar Apartment, IP Extension Delhi, and a murder case was lodged.
On the basis of intelligence, four suspects were rounded up, with three of them identifying as Suraj, Manoj, Sumit, and were interrogated about the murder. During the inquiry, it was revealed that the deceased(Gaurav) had planned it all by himself, paid all of them to execute him so that his family could get the insurance money, as per the Delhi Police. “The accused persons committed this act of murder by hanging Gaurav near Khedi Baba Pul, Najafgarh Drain,” stated the Delhi Police (Outer District) press release.
