Delhi-NCR Air Remains Poor
There seems to be no respite from air pollution in Delhi-NCR in the new year. Air quality reached very dangerous levels in Delhi-NCR on Saturday. On Saturday morning, PM2.5 crossed the 400 mark in several areas of Delhi-NCR. This is the fourth consecutive day in the New Year when PM2.5 has crossed the 400 mark.

On Saturday, Delhi airport was the most polluted, with PM2.5 at 441 and PM10 at 433. In Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area, PM2.5 was 408 and PM10 was 416. In Mathura Road area, PM2.5 was 412 and PM10 was 380. Apart from this, in Lodhi Road area, in the morning, PM2.5 was 349 and PM10 was 242, while in Noida, PM2.5 was 378 and PM10 was 287.


Meanwhile, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) India, there could be some improvement in the Air Quality Index in Delhi-NCR on Sunday.
