Delhi-NCR Air Turns Hazardous Again
The air quality in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday has again reached the very hazardous level. The level of pollution has increased so much that the Air Quality Index (AQI) in most areas of Delhi-NCR was near 400 on the second consecutive day on Tuesday morning.

In Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area, PM 2.5 was 377 and PM 10 was 346. On Mathura Road, near the airport, PM 2.5 was 365 and PM 10 was 253. In Delhi’s Lodhi Road area, in the morning, PM 2.5 was 329 and PM 10 was 185. The level of pollution was the highest in Noida, where on Tuesday morning, PM 2.5 was 403 and PM 10 was 377.


Meanwhile, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research or SAFAR, pollution levels are expected to rise further in Delhi-NCR on Wednesday as well.
