Fuel Prices Continue To Soar, Petrol Touches Rs 80 In Mumbai
Even as crude oil prices in the international market have been falling this week, petrol and diesel prices increased to scale fresh highs on September 27. Barring Wednesday, petrol and diesel prices have been on the rise for over a week now.
The price of petrol was up by 15 paise per litre and that of diesel by 10 paise per litre in the national capital. With the rise, petrol is priced at Rs 74.34 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs 67.24 per litre in Delhi.
In Mumbai, the petrol price rose by 15 paise to Rs 80 a litre. The rate of diesel was increased by 11 paise to Rs 70.55 per litre. On Thursday, the price of petrol was up by 6 paise per litre and that of diesel by 7 paise per litre in the national capital. With this upward rally, petrol has been hiked by up to Rs 2.31 and diesel rates by up to Rs 1.92 in the past 11 days. See the full story here:
