India COVID-19 Cases Rise To 562
The number of coronavirus patients in the country is rising swiftly. According to new statistics from the Health Ministry, 562 coronavirus patients have been identified across the country. Among these, while 40 patients have been discharged, nine have succumbed to the disease.

The Health Ministry also said that the report of the patient who died in Delhi on Tuesday has come out negative.


After five new patients were found in Maharashtra, the total number of patients in the state has increased to 112. 

Similarly, with three new coronavirus-positive cases, the number of patients in Gujarat has reached 38. Jayanti Ravi, Principal Secretary, Gujarat Health and Family Welfare Department, has informed that 147 FIRs have been registered in different parts of the state against lockdown violators.

According to Dr Praveen Jadia, Health Officer, Madhya Pradesh, five new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Indore. Among these, while four patients are from Indore, one patient is from Ujjain.

Meanwhile, Dr Sudhir Singh of the King George Medical University, Lucknow, has confirmed that a coronavirus patient has been found in the state’s Pilibhit district. He said that a 33-year-old Pilibhit resident has tested positive for the coronavirus. He doesn’t have any travel history and this is a case of local transmission.
