India Records Biggest Single-Day Spike Of Over 9,0
India COVID-19 death toll has crossed 6,000, after 260 deaths were reported over the last 24 hours across the country, as per the Health Ministry’s latest bulletin.

The country recorded over 9,000 new cases in a single-day spike, taking the nationwide total to 216,919 cases while the deaths have risen to 6,075.


Meanwhile, the number of active cases has climbed to 106,737.

Marking the biggest jump in coronavirus cases by far on Wednesday, more than 8,000 cases are being reported on a daily basis for the last four days.

If the infection continues to rise at this rate, then Italy will be left behind in the next two days.

Global coronavirus cases stand at 6,573,000 cases while the death toll has exceeded 388,000.

The US remains the worst-affected nation by COVID-19 with 19 lakh cases and more than 109,000 deaths so far.
