Kamlesh Tiwari Murder: All 3 Accused Flown Into Lucknow From Ahmedabad
The three accused in the murder of Hindu Samaj Party leader, Kamlesh Tiwari, were flown to Lucknow from Ahmedabad on Monday.
On Sunday, an Ahmedabad court had granted the 72-hour transit remand to the Uttar Pradesh police for the accused Mohsin Sheikh, Faizan and Rashid Ahmed, who were arrested by the Gujarat ATS from Surat on Friday.
Tiwari was killed in Lucknow by the men who came to his house on the pretext of giving Diwali sweets. Meanwhile, UP CM Yogi Adityanath also met the family of Tiwari, however, his mother Kusum Towari said the meeting was not satisfying and that her family was forcibly brought to meet the CM. The UP police also recovered a blood-stained knife from a hotel room in Lucknow. Over the past three days, there have been conflicting versions of statements issued by the UP police.
