Leh Freezes At Minus 14.4 Degrees, Cold Intensifie
Leh continues to be the coldest place, where last night the mercury was at minus 14.4 degree Celsius, while the day temperature was minus 8 degree Celsius.

Many highways in the region have been closed due to snowfall. To beat the freezing temperature, people can be seen huddling around a fire for warmth and trying their best to save themselves from the biting cold.

According to the Met Office, Saturday was the coldest night of the season in Srinagar, when the temperature was minus 2.5 degree Celsius.

People who have come here on a visit say that they can feel the intense cold and they are trying everything they can to keep cold at bay.

North Kashmir’s Gulmarg has become the coldest place in the Valley. The Met Office says that although the weather is clear for now in J&K, cold wave conditions have intensified, due to which it has turned colder. Higher reaches could experience light rainfall.

The weather will remain the same in Srinagar and Leh till December 7.

The Met Office has advised tourists to arrive here only after getting complete information because roads are closed in many areas due to snowfall.
