Mother Drives Scooter For 1400 KM To Bring Back St
A woman from Telangana’s Nizamabad rode a two-wheeler for 1,400 km to bring her son back home.

A teacher by profession, Razia Begum belongs to Nizamabad’s Bodhan. Her son Nizamuddin was stranded in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore due to the lockdown but he is now back home.

Nizamuddin is a student of intermediate. When the health of his friend’s father in Nellore deteriorated, he too reached Nellore on March 12 and could not return due to the lockdown.

Amid this, Razia Begum contacted the Bodhan Police, informed them of the entire situation and got a permission letter made.

The distance by road between Bodhan and Nellore is around 700 km and it takes 12 hours to cover it.

Razia left Bodhan on April 7 and returned along with her son on April 8.

Due to the lockdown, the roads were deserted everywhere.

During her journey, Razia also passed stretches of several kilometres where she could see only jungles on both sides of the road.
