MP: Muslim Students Discriminated Against, Bhopal
With the mounting challenge of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Muslim community is being repeatedly discriminated against.

A similar incident has come to light in Indore’s Navlakha where the students of Islamia Karma School were denied entry to the examination halls at a Bengali High School.

The students who had their class XII exam centre at the school were not allowed in on the first day of the exam.

Despite repeated requests, the school management refused to let the students enter and were made to sit in the corridor to write the exams.

Several children from Islamia Karimia wrote the exam while sitting in the corridor, while the rest of the children were writing their papers from inside the examination hall.

The school authorities argued that the students had come from the COVID-19 red zone, so they were not allowed inside.

MLA from Bhopal Madhya Assembly seat Arif Masood has written a letter to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding action against the school management. He said that instead of teaching community amity and harmony in the temple of education, the lessons of enmity is being taught.

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan is yet to break the silence in the matter but the incident can stain his image.
