Mumbai: 2 Dead, 1 Missing In Ghatkopar Factory Blaze
Incidents of fire continue unabated in Mumbai, the nation’s financial capital. The recent case is from Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area, where a massive fire broke out at a factory on Friday evening. By Saturday morning, the fire brigade had managed to control the blaze completely.
While two persons have died in this incident, one person is still missing. Among the deceased are a woman and a man, while search is on for one missing person.
The fire was so massive that 15 fire tenders were deployed to douse it. Since it was a congested area, the fire brigade faced a lot of difficulty in dousing the fire. There was panic in the neighbouring areas after news of the fire spread. It is not clear yet what caused the fire. Earlier this month, on December 17, fire had erupted at a 10-storey building in Ghatkopar. Watch the full report here
