'No Physical Distancing': Hundreds Of Devotees Take Holy Dip On Ganga Dussehra
With the end of Lockdown 4.0, law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh Government has begun to be violated.
The religious gathering is still banned as per orders from the Ministry of Home Affairs, however, hundreds of devotees gathered at the Sangam Ghat in Prayagraj to take a holy dip in the river Ganga on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra.
Without taking any permission, devotees gathered for the religious rituals, took a dip in the Ganges and went to their homes. They had neither worn masks nor did they follow physical distancing. Among those who took the dip were Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad President, Narendra Giri, and about 30 sages and saints were with him. Interestingly, Prayagraj's police administration appeared helpless in front of the saints and devotees who bathed in the river.
