Now Watch 'Chhapaak' Tax-Free In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Puducherry
Deepika Padukone starrer film ‘Chhapaak’, which is based on incidents of acid attacks on women and was released on January 10, was declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Puducherry.
The information on making the film tax-free was given by the chief ministers of the three states on Twitter. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and MP CM Kamalnath gave this information on their Twitter handle a day before the film’s release.
CM Kamalnath wrote that along with giving a positive message about the victims of acid attack and their anguish, this film is based on the story of their self-confidence, struggle, hope and desire to live and relays the message of change in the society’s mentality in such cases.
