Pragya Thakur Expelled From Defence Committee For Calling Godse 'Patriot'
Nadda said further, “We have decided that Pragya Singh Thakur will be removed from the consultative committee on defence, and in this session, she will not be allowed to participate in the parliamentary party meetings.” In his statement, Nadda repeated, “We are very clear about calling Nathuram Godse a patriot. We do not support this statement. We condemn it.” However, Pragya Thakur has called Nathuram Godse a patriot earlier as well. In the 2019 general elections, she had called Bapu’s assassin Godse a patriot. At that time, PM Modi had said in an election rally that he will not be able to forgive Pragya Thakur from the heart.
