Protests Against CAA, NRC And NPR Underway Across
Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) are underway in various parts of the country.

Thousands of students from several universities took out a march against CAA, NRC and NPR from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Monday.


Meanwhile, protests in Shaheen Bagh continue and Tuesday will be the 38th day of protests there. Digvijay Singh, Congress leader, reached Shaheen Bagh on Monday night and took part in the protest, where he said that he opposes the divisive policies of the Central government.

Najeeb Jung, former Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University and former Lieutenant Governor of Delhi reached Jamia on Monday and extended his support to students.

Protests by women on the lines of Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh against CAA, NRC and NPR are underway in several cities including Lucknow, Kanpur, Patna, Kolkata and Bhopal.

While women are protesting against CAA, NRC and NPR in various parts of Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, in Aligarh, students of the Aligarh Muslim University made a dummy of a detention centre in protest against CAA and NRC.

Unceasing protests are going on against CAA, NRC and NPR in West Bengal too. Students, teachers and local people protested against the three provisions in West Bengal’s Asansol on Monday.
