RJD Calls For 'Bihar Bandh', Congress Lends Suppor
Protests against the Citizenship Act are being held in several states across the country. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has called a Bihar bandh against the Citizenship Law on Saturday. Since morning, RJD workers are protesting against the law in Patna, Darbhanga, Vaishali and other districts.

Amid all this, RJD workers blocked roads, trains and railway tracks in several places as part of their protest. The Congress has extended its support to this bandh by the RJD. The Left parties and Pappu Yadav’s Jan Adhikar Party have also supported the bandh.

Strict security arrangements have been made to ensure that no violence takes place during the Bihar bandh.

RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav has warned Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the state administration that if the government tries to harm anyone during the bandh, it should be ready to face the consequences.
