Slain gangster Vikas Dubey's post-mortem report, who was killed in an encounter on 10 July, confirmed the cause of his death as “haemorrhage and shock” after being shot.

Three bullets pierced through his body and that there were ten injuries citing the post-mortem report. The first bullet struck his right side shoulder and two others hit his chest on the left side.


The post-mortem report said there were injuries on the head, elbow, rib and stomach on the right side of his body.

It is being said that these wounds occurred due to the injuries on Dubey's body after falling on the ground. According to forensic experts, the postmortem report mentions a total of 10 wounds on Vikas Dubey's body.

Vikas Dubey's encounter was declared fake by all opposition parties, who unanimously demanded for a judicial probe, but approval was not granted. Since the postmortem report has revealed that three bullets went through Vikas's body, it is believed that the UP police shot him very close. After the post-mortem report came, the allegation of fake encounter on UP police has deepened.

Meanwhile, on Sunday night, police arrested Jayakant Vajpayee and his partner Prashant Shukla, aides of Vikas Dubey. It is alleged that Jayakant Vajpayee aka Jai ​​Vajpayee used to keep accounts of Vikas Dubey's money.

It is being claimed that just two days before the Kanpur encounter, only Rs 2 lakh rupees and 25 cartridges were sent to Vikas Dubey by Jai Vajpayee.

Probe is on both the accused after the FIR registration. So far, the UP Police has done an encounter with Vikas Dubey, his maternal uncle Prem Prakash, Amar, Prabhat and Bouvan while arresting others.

Eight policemen were killed in the Kanpur encounter and accusation of tipping off Vikas Dubey was made against Chaubepur police station in UP.
