State-Wise Break Up Of Coronavirus Cases And Death
The number of coronavirus patients in the country keeps increasing. 

According to Health Ministry data at 8 a.m. on April 16, the total number of coronavirus patients in the country has reached 12,380 and the number of active patients stands at 10,477.


While 414 people have lost their lives so far, 1,488 people have recovered as well.

The highest number of deaths (187) in the country has taken place in Maharashtra, where 2,916 cases have come to light and 259 people have recovered as well.

There have been 53 deaths in Madhya Pradesh. The total number of patients here is 987 and 64 patients have recovered.

In Gujarat, 33 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus so far. The total number of patients here is 766 and 64 people have been discharged.

In Delhi, 32 people have died. While 1,578 cases have been reported here, 40 patients have recovered.

In Telangana, while 18 people have lost their lives so far, 120 have recovered as well. Over here, a total of 647 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Tamil Nadu, 1,242 cases have come to light. While 14 people have died here, 118 patients have been discharged as well.

In Andhra Pradesh, 14 people have died. Over here, a total of 525 cases have been reported and 20 people have recovered.

In Punjab, 13 people have died. Over here, a total of 186 cases have been reported and 27 patients have been discharged as well.

In Karnataka, 12 people have lost their lives so far. While 80 people have recovered here, 279 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Uttar Pradesh, 11 people have died. Over here, a total of 735 cases have been reported and 51 people have recovered.

In West Bengal, a total of 231 cases have come to light so far. Over here, while 42 people have recovered, seven people have died.

There have been four deaths in Jammu and Kashmir. While 36 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 300.

There have been three deaths each in Rajasthan, Kerala and Haryana. In Rajasthan 1,023 people, in Kerala 388 and in Haryana 205 people have contracted the coronavirus.

There have been two deaths in Jharkhand so far. Over here, a total of 28 cases have been reported.

Apart from this, there has been one death each from the coronavirus in Bihar, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.

The coronavirus has taken 33 states of the country in its grip so far and the number of patients is rising rapidly.
