State-Wise Tracker Of Coronavirus Cases And Deaths

The number of coronavirus patients has crossed 31,000 and the death toll stands at over 1,000.

According to Health Ministry data at 8 a.m. on April 29, the total number of coronavirus patients in the country has reached 31,332 and there are 22,629 active patients now. 

While 1,007 people have lost their lives so far, 7,695 people have recovered as well.

The highest number of deaths in the country (400) has taken place in Maharashtra, where 9,318 cases have come to light and 1,388 people have recovered too.

In Gujarat, 181 people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus so far. While 434 people have been discharged here, the total number of patients is 3,744.

In Madhya Pradesh, there have been 120 deaths. The total number of patients here is 2,387 and 377 patients have been discharged. 

In Delhi, there have been 54 deaths. A total of 3,314 cases have been reported here and 1,078 patients have recovered.

In Rajasthan, 51 people have lost their lives so far. While 768 people have recovered here, 2,364 people have contracted the coronavirus.

There have been 34 deaths in Uttar Pradesh. Over here, 2,053 cases have been reported and 462 patients have recovered.

In Andhra Pradesh, there have been 31 deaths. The total number of patients here is 1,259 and 258 patients have been discharged.

In Telangana, 26 people have lost their lives so far. While 321 people have recovered here, 1,004 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Tamil Nadu, 25 people have died. While 2,058 cases have come to light here, 1,168 people have recovered as well.

In West Bengal, 22 people have lost their lives so far. While 119 people have recovered here, a total of 725 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Karnataka, 20 people have died. While a total of 523 cases have been reported here, 207 people have recovered as well.

There have been 19 deaths in Punjab. While 71 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 322.

In Jammu and Kashmir, eight people have lost their lives so far. While 176 people have recovered as well, 565 people have contracted the coronavirus here.

There have been four deaths in Kerala. While 359 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 485.

There have been three deaths each in Haryana and Jharkhand. In Haryana 310 and in Jharkhand 103 people have contracted the coronavirus. In Haryana 209 and in Jharkhand 17 patients have recovered as well. 

In Bihar, two people have died so far. Over here, a total of 366 cases have been reported and 64 patients have been discharged.

Apart from this, there has been one death each in Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.

The coronavirus has hit 33 states across the country so far and the number of patients is increasing rapidly.
