Supreme Court Agrees To Hear Petition On Hyderabad
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition on the Hyderabad Police encounter which killed the four accused in the gruesome rape-murder of a veterinary doctor last month.

Lawyers GS Mani, PK Yadav, and ML Sharma have filed petitions in the Supreme Court over the Hyderabad encounter.

Petitioners have sought a probe into the encounter in which four alleged rapists were shot dead by the Cyberabad police.

Last Friday, the Telangana High Court directed the state government to preserve the bodies of four accused till 8 pm on Monday as the court will take up the matter for hearing.

All the four rape-accused were gunned down by police in "retaliatory" fire on Friday morning at Chattanpalli when they were taken to the crime scene where the charred remains of the 25-year-old woman veterinarian were found on November 28, to recover the leftovers pertaining to the case.
