Telangana CM Says State Will Be Free Of Coronaviru
The number of active coronavirus patients in the country has crossed 1,000. According to the latest figures from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), while the number of active patients is 1010, the death toll stands at 27.

Amid this, 102 people have also been discharged from hospital after treatment. According to ICMR scientist R Ganga Khedkar, 34,931 people have been tested across the country so far. 


Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has said that the number of coronavirus patients in the state is 70. While 11 patients have recovered and gone back home, 58 are currently undergoing treatment.

He also said that 25,937 people who have returned to Telangana from foreign visits are being monitored and they have been quarantined till April 7. If no new cases are reported, then after April 7, there will be no coronavirus patient in the state.

Rao said that it is very essential to control oneself during the lockdown.

Meanwhile, 23 new coronavirus cases came to light in capital Delhi on Sunday. The number of patients has now crossed 70 here.

Six doctors and four nurses of the RML Hospital have been placed under quarantine after they came into contact with a coronavirus patient.
