Three Of Family Murdered In Maharashtra’s Beed District Over Land Dispute
Thee members of the same family were killed on Wednesday midnight in Mangwadgaon in Maharashtra’s Beed district over a land dispute. Another person was injured in the attack.
The deceased have been identified as Babu Shankar Pawar, Prakash Babu Pawar, and Sanjay Babu Pawar.
Twenty attackers from the Nimbalkar family reached Mangwadgaon from Ambejogai at midnight and killed the victims. Eyewitnesses said motorcycles were set on fire to prevent the Pawar family members from fleeing. According to the sources, the Pawar and Nimbalkar families have been embroiled in a land dispute for several years. In 2018 and 2019, the police had also taken action against the accused. 17 persons have been arrested so far.
