UP: Congress Attacks Yogi Govt As Hindu Monk Found
In Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur, a young Hindu sadhu’s body was found hanging from a tree. The age of the sadhu is purportedly 22 years old, who has been identified as Satyendra Anand. The body of the sadhu was found near the Chhatauna market in Sultanpur where there is a temple nearby. In the initial investigation, the police are considering it murder and further investigation has been initiated.

According to the villagers, Satyendra Anand was a Naga sadhu who had been living at the same place for three years. The villagers do not know where he originally belonged to. It is being said that Anand came from Himachal Pradesh and lived at the temple in Chhatauna for years. On sadhu’s death, Congress has attacked the Yogi government. Congress shared a picture of the monk on Twitter and wrote, ‘The body of a priest was found hanging in the temple premises in Sultanpur. People around have feared murder.’

On 27 April 2020 this year, two sadhus were hacked to death in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr with sharp weapons. Even then, the opposition parties attacked the Yogi government. CM Yogi himself is a Mahant and he raised the issue of the lynching of sadhus in Palghar, Maharashtra, with vigor.
