When Help Came From Unexpected Quarters In Surat
Around 150 good Samaritans from the transgender community came forward to distribute food packages to the needy in Surat. They distributed 1,500 food kits in slum areas, which included rice and pulses in the wake of 21-day lockdown across the country. The kits they prepare also include tea, cooking oil and sugar. Locals say nobody from the government has come for relief so far, although they are being told that an initiative will begin from April 1
