David Warner's Wife Quotes Gandhi To Praise His Triple Ton
Australian batsman David Warner’s wife Candice has praised her husband on social media after he scored a triple century against Pakistan in the Adelaide test.
On her Twitter account, Candice posted a photograph of David Warner, along with a quote by Mahatma Gandhi, which said: “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. (Mahatma Gandhi) It’s not important what other people believe about you. It’s only important what you believe about yourself.”
After the tweet by Candice, the internet is abuzz with discussions over it. By scoring 335 not out in Adelaide, Warner has become the second Australian batsman to score the most runs in one test innings. He has gone past Mark Taylor and Don Bradman. Warner has also become the second batsman to score a triple century using the pink ball. However, Matthew Hayden, who scored 380 runs against Zimbabwe in October 2003, is way ahead of other players in this regard.
