England Vs West Indies, 1st Test: Day 1 Report
England vs West Indies 1st Test (Report): Rain, Bad Light Forces Stumps on Day 1 with England at 35/1
International cricket has finally returned after nearly three-month-long break enforced by the coronavirus pandemic. However, the opening day of first England vs West Indies test turned out to be a rainy affair as light drizzle and bad light forced the umpires to call for stumps on Day 1 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
Earlier, England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to bat first. Joe Denly and Rory Burns took England to 35 for 1 at Tea but play never resumed after that.
