First Test Match Between India & Bangladesh In Indore From Thursday
The first match of the two-match test series between India and Bangladesh will be played at Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium from Thursday. Both teams have played nine test matches till date, out of which India won seven matches, while two ended in a draw.
This test series will be played as part of the ICC Test Championship. While India is at the top of the ICC Test Championship points table with 240 points, Bangladesh has till now not played any match under the ICC Test Championship.
Team India is currently in superb form and it defeated Bangladesh 2-1 in the recent T-20 series. India is currently at the number one spot in the Test ranking, while Bangladesh is in the ninth position. India has recently won the test series against South Africa and the West Indies. The second match of the Test series against Bangladesh will be played in Kolkata from November 22. This match will be a Day-Night match and it will be India’s first Day-Night match.
