Virat Kohli helped India to beat West Indies by 4 wickets in the third ODI at Cuttack on Sunday.

Put in to bat first West Indies set up a stiff target of 316 for India to chase. The highlights of the West Indian innings was the thrilling 135-run stand between Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard. The former smashed 10 fours and three sixes in his 64-ball 89, while the latter hit seven sixes in his 74. Debutant Navdeep Saini took 2 wickets for India.


India reached the target in 48.4 overs. Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Captain Virat Kohli scored half-centuries while cameos by Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur ensured victory for the hosts.

India won the 3-match series, 2-1.
