Kiwis Climb To No. 3 Spot In Test Rankings After C
New Zealand has climbed to the number three spot in the ICC World Test Championship table after beating India 2-0 in the recent test series.

However, despite the loss, India continues to be placed first in the test rankings. While India has 360 points, New Zealand has 180 points.

On its New Zealand tour, Team India had to face an embarrassing defeat in the test series. After losing both test matches resoundingly, India also lost the series 2-0.

New Zealand defeated India by 10 wickets in the first test match of the series played in Wellington and by seven wickets in the second match played in Christchurch.

Despite a shameful 2-0 series loss, India remains on the top spot in the ICC World Test Championship table. New Zealand, on the other hand, has gained a lot of advantage and has climbed to third place on the points table.

Famous for its batting, Team India fell flat in the test series. Barring a few, none of the Indian batsmen could put up a good show in the entire series. Even captain Virat Kohli failed badly and could not score even one half-century in the four innings of the two test matches.

India could score only four half-centuries in the entire series and none of the players could make a century.

Apart from this, India could not touch the score of 250 runs even once in the four innings and thrice, India’s score remained less than 200 runs. However, Team India’s batsmen helped it save face and prevented it from innings loss in both matches.
