Preview: India Vs South Africa 2nd Test Match
The second match of a three-match Test series between India and South Africa will be played at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Thursday. India is ahead of South Africa by 1-0 after winning the first Test, with many of its team members being in superb form.
In the first Test match, both the opening batsmen, Mayank Agrawal and Rohit Sharma, played a fabulous game. While Agrawal scored a double century in the first innings, Sharma silenced his critics by scoring centuries in both innings and winning the Man of The Match Award.
Speaking of the bowling line-up, R Ashwin, Mohd Shami and Ravindra Jadeja put up a great bowling performance. While R Ashwin took 7 wickets in the first innings and 1 wicket in the second innings, Mohd Shami netted 5 wickets in the second innings. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets in the first innings and 4 wickets in the second innings. In Test matches played by both teams until now, South Africa remains ahead of India. Both teams have played a total of 37 matches till now, in which India has won 12 matches and South Africa has won 15 matches. Ten matches have ended in a draw.
