West Indies captain Jason Holder's career-best figures of six for 42 helped visitors bundle out England for 204 in the first innings of the first Test between the two sides at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

West Indies were 57/1 when bad light forced an early close. Kraigg Brathwaite (20 runs off 65 balls) and Shai Hope (3 runs off 16 balls) are at the crease.

Holder was well supported by fast bowler Shannon Gabriel, who took four for 62.

England skipper Ben Stokes was the highest scorer for his side with 43 runs on board and his 67-run stand with Jos Buttler was the only time in the innings that England looked to be on top.
