Stage Set For India Vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20 In Pune
The third and final match of the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka will be played on Friday at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
India is ahead by 1-0 in the series by winning the second match and it will attempt to win the third and final match to win the series by 2-0. India is the stronger side against Sri Lanka in T20 matches and it has never lost a T20 series to Sri Lanka.
India had won the second match of the T20 series played at Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium on Tuesday by seven wickets. Earlier, the first match of the series in Guwahati had been cancelled due to rain. The two teams have played a total of 18 T20 matches till now, out of which India won 12 matches and Sri Lanka won five matches, while one match was cancelled due to rain. Speaking of matches played between the two teams in India, both teams have played a total of 10 matches in India till now, out of which India won seven matches and Sri Lanka won two matches, while one match was cancelled due to rain.
