T20 Cricket: India Beat West Indies By 67 Runs To Clinch Series

After defeating West Indies by 2-1 in the T20 series, Team India is now looking at winning the one-day series. 

The first match of the one-day series will be played in Chennai on December 15. The second match will be played in Visakhapatnam on December 18 and the third match will be played in Cuttack on December 22.

While India had won the first match of the three-match T20 series by six wickets, West Indies levelled the series by 1-1 by winning the second match by eight wickets. India won the third match by 67 runs and also won the series by 2-1.

Team India and its several players are currently in superb form. On Wednesday, BCCI selection committee included batsman Mayank Agarwal, who is in superb form, in place of Shikhar Dhawan, who is injured, in the one-day team against West Indies.

Figures show that both teams are evenly-placed. The two teams have played a total of 130 matches till now, in which both teams have won 62-62 matches each. Apart from this, while two matches ended in a tie, four matches remained inconclusive.

In the ICC one-day ranking, India is in first place and West Indies is on seventh spot.

After the World Cup, Team India had gone to West Indies and defeated it on its home turf in the T20 series by 3-0 and the one-day and test series by 2-0.
