An Indian-origin taxi driver refused to accept taxi fare from members of the Pakistan cricket team, which is in Australia for the ongoing test series.

Elated at the behaviour of the taxi driver, the players shared a selfie of him having dinner with them, which is going viral on the internet.


The Pakistan team is currently on a tour of Australia, where an Indian-origin taxi driver did not accept the taxi fare from some Pakistani cricketers. After this, the players of the Pakistan cricket team asked the driver to have dinner with them. 

The Indian-origin driver had reached the team hotel to pick up five members of the Pakistan team. Among them were Yasir Shah, Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah. On reaching Gaba Stadium, when the players gave him the fare, he refused, saying that he respects them.

After this, the players surprised him by saying that if you won’t accept the fare, then have dinner with us. The Pakistani cricketers then had dinner with the Indian-origin taxi driver in an Indian restaurant and took a selfie as well.
