Phone Companies Extend Warranty Amid Coronavirus L
In view of the 21-day nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus, electronic and smartphone manufacturing companies have decided to extend the warranty on their products, for the benefit of their customers.

Samsung has decided to extend the warranty on all kinds of electronic products until May 31, 2020. Samsung posted a tweet, “...we are extending the standard warranty till May 31, 2020, on all Samsung products whose warranty is expiring between March 20 and April 30, 2020.” 


After this decision by Samsung, several other smartphone manufacturing companies have also decided to extend the warranty period. 

Smartphone manufacturing company OnePlus has extended the duration of the warranty expiring between March 1 and April 30 to May 31, 2020.

Indian mobile company Lava has also extended the warranty on all its products for a duration of two months. Lava has constituted a special team of its service managers, who will personally call customers or send messages to them and try to resolve their issues.

Extending the warranty period similarly, Oppo has also started an online repair service for its customers. Through this, customers can find solutions to common problems or software-related issues.

Apart from this, Techno, Infinix India and Detel have also increased the duration of the warranty on their products getting over between March 20 and May 31 by two months.
