Medical Studies Crisis In India
The plight of Indian students stuck in Ukraine has belatedly brought in focus the crisis of medical studies in India with government struggling for their quick evacuation from the war zone.
In 2018 GoNews did a comprehensive report on the paucity of medical seats in the country. In 2019 the government announced 2700 new medical seats, but the plans are still to take off.
