Turbulence Hits Indigo: 2,300 Employees To Be Offloaded In Pandemic Fallout
India's largest airline IndiGo has now decided to lay off 10% of its staff , affecting 2,300 of it's employees, due to the downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Indigo Airlines CEO Ronjoy Dutta said via e-mail: 'In order to keep the company moving forward, we need to cut our expenses and cost for some time. So we are going to lay off 10 percent employees for the first time."
