Budget Session: Congress Sets Out 10-Point Agenda For Modi Govt
On the eve of the Parliament Budget Session, former Finance Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram holding the Centre 'solely responsible' for the economic mess up during pandemic, sets out a 10-point agenda for the Modi Govt, calling for an immediate and large fiscal stimulus to revive a sagging economy, which includes the need to impart a large fiscal stimulus, direct cash transfers, sector-specific revival plan, reduce taxes on GST and petrol-diesel, among others.
