Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman releases the second tranche of Rs 20 lakh crore package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to tackle the impact of coronavirus and weeks of lockdown on the economy.

On Wednesday evening, the FM unveiled the first tranche themed around the 'Self-reliant India campaign' and aimed at all sections of the society, including the middle-class, MSMEs, labourers, farmers and the industry.

The FM said the announcements will be made in tranches.
