Business sentiment hits an all-time low since 1991, as per a recent survey by the National Council of Applied Economic Research that suggests the Business Confidence Index for the first quarter of the financial year 2020-21, i.e. March to June, is lower than in 1991. The survey also stated that the Business Confidence Index has fallen by 62% to 42.6 in the first quarter of FY 2020-21 as compared to FY 2019-20. There is a 40% decline in the current financial year compared to the last quarter of the last financial year
